Mario Sports Complex: Barrel Blast is an Adobe Flash version of the Mario Superstar Baseball minigame Barrel Batter. It was available to play on the mariobaseball.com website and the 2005 iteration of Camp Hyrule, the latter featuring a variation of the game.
Gameplay[edit]
The gameplay is very similar to Barrel Batter from Mario Superstar Baseball. Barrels come in three colors, red, yellow or blue, which spawn throughout the game, and Mario must swing a baseball to hit them. The player can score more points by hitting barrels of the same color that touch each other. Players must use the mouse to aim and space bar to swing the bat. There are 15 balls to swing in total, and Mario has to get at least 10,000 points to win.
In the Camp Hyrule iteration, if the score has been achieved, the player discovers a Stumpy Stone, which would then be placed on the Camp Hyrule map and notify the Camp Hyrule Directors. This would benefit the player's cabin to gain points against the other ones.
