Iron Hammer is the Offensive Power Shot used by Mario in both Mario Power Tennis and Mario Tennis: Power Tour. Upon using it, Mario summons a huge Hammer and hits the ball using heavy force, with flames trailing behind the tennis ball. In doing so, the opponent is knocked to the far back of the court and leaves it open to a drop shot. If Mario returns any Offensive Power Shot with the Iron Hammer, he does not suffer from any knockback, although other effects could still apply, such as electrocution or being forced to lunge. Being hit with the Iron Hammer also causes the opponent to lose a portion of the energy needed to use a Power Shot.
