DK Vine is a fansite focused on the Donkey Kong franchise. It is one of the most successful Donkey Kong fansites, having been around since 1999. There are several instances when they would get in contact with Rare staff for information on the Donkey Kong franchise, such as Redneck Kong's name[1] and insight into the development of Donkey Kong Country's Game Boy Advance remake.[2]
